Hotel Del Coronado Wedding

When Cheryl and VInce walked into my studio with 9 of their family members I knew it was going to be a fun consultation! We walked the studio pulled from our vast inventory and created their wedding dream right on the spot! She knew she wanted a vintage vibe and he knew he wanted there to be pink flowers! The venue, the historic Hotel Del Coronado is spectacular and a wonderful choice for any couple looking to have a classy beachside wedding.
Below are the images from the very talented
Anika London
It was a true pleasure working with them and I wish Cheryl and Vince a lifetime of happiness!!!!

Back Yard Wedding Installation!

June 1st 2013 was a beautiful day!
Some of our very dear friends had trusted us to design their wedding! Sometimes this creative freedom can be overwhelming when it comes to people you adore and admire! You think about every detail and every aspect and hope that they will love it! After weeks of working at their gorgeous home in Bay Park, hanging market lights over the pool and on the fence line of the yard, Building our new 9' wood Chuppah with a chandelier and curtains, installing silver mercury mason jars and candles hanging from the trees, and bringing the infamous red couch for the photo booth area! It was all coming together! Now it was time to begin my favorite part, the FLOWERS!
My vendor at the Carlsbad flower market Mayesh Wholesale Flowers, knew how important this wedding was to me and they did not disappoint! The flowers were stunning, fresh, and perfect!
We used Juliet Garden Roses, Amaryllis, Peonies, Sweet peas, Garden Spray Roses, and for our touch of greenery we introduced mint for a beautiful fresh smell! When I began designing it was as if the flowers were using my hands as their tools to create pure natural beauty. I was so inspired!!!
I opened my mind and created from my heart. What poured out of me was the best designs I have ever created! Below are just a few pictures that I shot with my iPhone. As soon as the talented photographer gives me images I will upload more to share!
Enjoy!!!!

The 9' tall Chuppah that my husband Guy built was so stunning with weather wood beams and industrial elements to hang the chandelier and curtains from! See below where it was lit up at night with the cupcakes underneath it!

A few shots of the flowers from our cooler at the studio and at their home!

Juliet Garden Roses are a beautiful addition to any design!

The Brides bouquet of all white Peonies wrapped in lace from her hand made veil.

A combination of garden roses, peonies, anemones, sweet peas, and spray roses wrapped in lace and twine!

The Chuppah lit up at night!

The most beautiful bride seeing her soon to be husband for the first time that day! The smile on her face says it all!!!!

The vendors that all made this wedding a success were AMAZING!!! Each hand selected by the bride and groom based on pure connection and trust!
Great JOB!!!!

Jamie Renfro Coordinator- She was perfect, she had a way of keeping everyone on track while being gracious and spectacular!!!

The food was delicious and the staff so wonderful 5 Stars for sure!!!

Pam and her team were everywhere they needed to be without being in the way! They were fantastic and we can't wait to see the images!

Collin- The best Rockin DJ and Acoustic Guitarist http://stilllisteningproductions.com/
Collin rocked the whole night but when he grabbed his guitar and belted out Hey Ho by the Lumineers for their sparkler exit there was not a dry eye in the house! AMAZING!!!!!

And of Course My husband and I of Ashley Elizabeth Floral Design and Styling! It was our first full installation from lighting to linens to flowers to building! Now we know we can accomplish anything we put our mind to as long as we do it together!!!!

Mint Green Wedding Colors

As we approach another beautiful wedding season the colors of spring are swirling around!
Fall and winter brought deep emerald green into the wedding world.

Spring is bringing a fresh new green and it is stunning!
Mint Green
A beautiful lighter version of the very organic green family made it's debut last year but I believe it is going to make a huge showing in the
Spring 2013 Wedding Season!

It looks amazing with just about any color combination but I think my favorite would have to be
Mint Green, Gold, and Pink

Can't you just imagine this as your wedding colors?

I hope you are as inspired as I am!

Vintage Glam Wedding Ideas

If you want a glamorous vintage wedding theme, find a vintage ballroom with crystal chandeliers for the venue. Before the toasts you and your groom can pour the champagne into your champagne tower and then pass out the glasses.
